We work simultaneously out of Boston, Massachusetts, in the US. And out of El Salvador, in Central America –where we develop and operate solar energy power plants.

NAUAK means “to gather or reunite, side by side” in Náhuatl –the most broadly spoken indigenous language across Mesoamerica; and serves as a contrast to the word DIASPORA which means “dispersion or separation.”

Our Vision is to exemplify a better way of organizing an entrepreneurial connection between migration and development within Mesoamerica and North America –the world’s largest migration corridor.

Our Mission is to contribute to a more effective use of the Salvadoran diaspora’s (and their allies) financial resources, talent and influence, as joined efforts towards larger scale and more impactful productive and social investments.

- Aside from adequately rewarding our investors, a significant percentage of NauakPower’s profits from energy sales will be invested through Nauak Foundation (currently in formation) into Social Initiatives –related to human capital development (primarily education) of underserved youth, as well as community development in their territories.
